Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms apply whenever you use Dearly, whether through the website (dearly.weekcraft.co.uk), the installed web app, or the iOS/Android app. Dearly is operated by Weekcraft. By using Dearly, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use Dearly. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for the accuracy of the data you add, including personal data about other people (see Section 6).

3. Plans and billing

• Free plan — unlimited people, unlimited important dates, and email reminders, at no cost, for as long as you keep an account.
• Dearly Plus — $9/month or $90/year, billed via Stripe. Unlocks AI gift/message suggestions, calendar connection and auto-booking, and AI meeting summaries.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from the Billing page — you'll keep Plus features until the end of the current billing period, then drop to Free.
• We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

4. AI-generated content

Gift ideas, message drafts, and meeting summaries are generated by AI (Anthropic Claude and OpenAI) based on the information you provide. Review AI-generated suggestions before acting on them — we don't guarantee their accuracy, appropriateness, or that a message draft reflects your intent.

5. Calendar and meeting features

Connecting Google Calendar or Microsoft 365 grants Dearly permission to read free/busy data and create events on your behalf. Meeting recording/transcription availability depends on your Google/Microsoft account type and your organization's policies — we can't guarantee a recording or transcript will be available for every meeting.

6. Data about other people

When you add a person's name, contact details, or notes to Dearly, you confirm you have a lawful basis to store and process that information (e.g. an existing relationship with them). You're responsible for how you use AI-generated suggestions involving them, and for complying with applicable data protection law regarding their data.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use Dearly to store data you don't have the right to hold, to harass or stalk anyone, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

8. Intellectual property

The Dearly name, logo, and app itself remain the property of Weekcraft. The people, dates, and notes you add remain yours.

9. Limitation of liability

Dearly is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Weekcraft is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including missed reminders, inaccurate AI suggestions, or calendar/meeting integration failures.

10. Termination

You can close your account any time by emailing hello@weekcraft.co.uk. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
